Beekeeping  Taster Experience
Experience the Buzz of Beekeeping with this two hour introduction session on the St. Ermin’s Bee Terrace, followed by Afternoon Tea.
One of the first London Hotel’s to have dedicated their rooftops to Bees, St. Ermin’s accommodates over 450,000 Buckfast Bees on their Bee Terrace and rooftop garden. Discover the basics of beekeeping, learn how the hotel’s honey is made, before heading in for a delicious Afternoon Tea. 
St Ermin’s Hotel’s beekeeping taster sessions last approximately 2.5 hours and cover an introduction to beekeeping with beekeeper Esther Cole. Following an informative talk, there is an opportunity to get ‘hands on’ with our very own bees, bee-suits will be provided. 
You will be taken to our third floor Bee Terrace where some of our hives are situated and shown the inside of the hives and how the honey is formed. Once the class has finished you can enjoy Afternoon Tea in our Tea Lounge or Terrace.

The Beekeeping Taster Session takes place on our third-floor terrace and bee suits will be provided.

Afternoon Tea menus are seasonal and subject to change a sample of the current menu can be found here.

Menu includes a selection of freshly baked scones, sweet & savoury treats and speciality teas. Optional upgrades including Champagne and seasonal beverages can be added by the guests. Vegetarian, vegan and other dietary requirements can be catered for, please request on booking. Afternoon Tea will be served in St. Ermin’s Tea Lounge, Lobby and Terrace.
